Considered to be one of the Masters of the Sogetsu Ikebana sect, Kawasaki started studying Ikebana floral arrangement in her teenage years and was highly influenced by family members. She was awarded her degree from TECOMAH, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry's School of Environment and Lifestyle. The themes of her floral arrangements include “The Fusion of Traditional Japanese and Western Culture” and “The Blend of Modern and Classic”. Her imaginative artistic designs have added both elegance and glamour to Hotel Granvia Kyoto's lobby since 2006.
