Carlos Vivar/ painter and sculptor/ self taught/ Feb 23 1964/ Mexico City. Studied graphic design at Mexico City’s Universidad Anahuac, leaving for London before graduating. Travelled to Italy where he obtained his master’s degree in computer design. Winner of “La Gaviota” award which was also awarded to Jose Luis Cuevas and Leonardo Nierman.

Vivar has exhibited his work in amongst other cities, Mexico City, New York City, Brussels, Belgium, London, England, Florence, Italy and Stockholm, Sweden. His work has been acquired by art collectors in Mexico and other countries.
