I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Honours at RMIT in 2017. I chose to undertake the degree due to my passion for painting and creativity. I had worked in office jobs for nearly thirty years and when my youngest daughter reached an age where she no longer required my constant assistance I decided to enrol at RMIT. Since completing the course at RMIT I have found that after all my working years being unhappy and unsatisfied in office jobs, I have finally found the thing that makes me happy and fulfilled and found what I want to do. My long term career goal is to keep painting. I would like to explore different mediums and areas of Fine Art including photography, printmaking and sculpture and develop my skills until I am an expert at what I do. I believe to develop as an artist it is important to keep moving forward and trying the new and the unexplored as there are no boundaries in the arts practice. It is my goal to exhibit my work whenever I can.
