I am an oil painter who makes his own paint and mediums.

I use historic pigments, some of which I have also produced.
Many of the pigments I use are mineral based and my palette is similar to that of the 17th century artist.

As a 21st century man, I use historic materials to bridge history and it's influences by the works I make. It is my aim to achieve a work of art that is strong in it's overall pictorial effect and expresses my inner relationship with the world, not just outward appearance.
