Born and raised in Los Angeles, and of Armenian descent. Anahid has been painting since the age of sixteen. She has been in many group and solo shows nationally & internationally. Her works are in numerous celebrities home such as Sharron Osbourne and Jerry Stahl. Anahid loves to exploit our perception of sensuality and the contradictions that it represents. To explore these complexities she uses organic materials such as wood to emphasize the tug of war between internal and external struggles women face. she embraces the nobility of human imperfections and celebrates their strife
