Born 1949 in Sweden.Has been painting the last 35-40 years. Mostly in oil. Live partly in Stockholm and partly on Öland, an island in the Baltic. Motives are the landscape of Öland, people/in movement (- started out as a p.e.teacher a long time ago) and nonfigurative (inspired from the above). Has exhibited several times in Stockholm -foremost on Galleri Thersaeus; abroad in Hanoi,Vietnam Rockford Illinois and Ward Nasse Gallery Manhattan N.Y. Have built a Gallery in my garden: GALLERI ALAOUI,in 2003, where I meet a growing audience every summer.
