T.Truman Capone Biography: 1-2021
T. Truman Capone was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, M.S. Virginia Tech and M.F.A. Radford University. Capone resides in Blacksburg, Virginia. His professional career includes: Director and Full Professor of Art & Design, Illustrator /Graphic Designer. His artwork appears in juried and invitational exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. He has exhibited in over 100 exhibitions in which his artwork has won International and National Awards from the Florence Biennale, the Linea Gallery Florence and the National Collage Society. His current mixed media paintings and creations merge traditional techniques and digital media. Truman’s aesthetic catalyzes emotional, historical, spiritual, and mythical elements, while rendering dimensions of color, geometry with emotive atmospheric connotations.
