Tereza Ordyan was born in 1982 in Yerevan, Armenia. In 1999-2004 she studied at Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Design and Decorative-applied arts and was qualified as a painter-stylist. She participated in a number of exhibitions during her student years. In 2004 some of her works were displayed at Heritage Museum, Massachusets, USA. She had her first solo exhibition in 2007 at “Academy” gallery in Yerevan. She participated in an exhibition at Municipality of Yerevan in the same year. She has been periodically taking part in republican exhibitions since 2008 at the Artists` Union of Armenia. In 2009 she became a member of Artists` Union of Armenia. She participated in the international exhibition ARvesT Expo’15,’16,’17, ‘18 and '19, which took place in Yerevan, Armenia. Since 2015 she has been taking part in a number of international exhibitions organized by Studio Abba in Paris (2015), San Donato in Poggio (2016), Miami (2016), Florence (2018) and Monte Carlo (2018). In 2017 she participated in JUNWEX Yerevan Show at Meridian Expo Center. In 2019 she participated in WorldArtDubai 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre and Spring Art Awakening in Barcelona organized by Crisolart Galleries.
She has been painting on silk using the technique “cold batik” since her student years. She likes the imaginary world and transfers the Invisible onto Visible plane in her artworks by putting the Universe and Nature through her creative prism. Flowing and intermingling sunny colours give ethereal touch to her artworks.
