Dimitri Bashko was born in 1960 in Belarus.
In 1994 he graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Art.
Since his teens Dimitri has participated in numerous exhibitions in Belarus. Several of his paintings were selected for inclusion in the Belarus State Art Fund (the state-held collection of art.)
A resident of the United States since 1995, he works as a professional illustrator and participates regularly in various art shows. Dimitri Bashko has created his own style of painting and developed his own vision of traditional images and ideas. Many of his paintings are part of private collections in Belarus, Russia, Germany and the US.
