Born in New York in the 50s, currently living in Los Angeles, married to my beautiful English wife Jennifer.
My studio is in Venice. We have lived in this area since 1992.
Have been exhibiting nationally for the last thirty years. Have been working on a new series for the last three years or so.
Very large drawings, I call them Pencil Paintings because the medium appears to be paint but is in fact intense color pencil work over a paint wash background. I use surrealistic imagery, from my imagination, but they are based on dioramas created with twisted tissues. Some video work on same theme can be seen on you tube, under my account name of Art Venti
