Agnes Abplanalp was born 1972 in Budapest. She migrated with her family to Italy and later to Switzerland where she spent most of her childhood. She also lived in the United States before returning to Switzerland to earn her degree in psychology from the University of Zurich. Agnes now shares her time between Jakarta, Singapore and Switzerland.
She is a completely self-taught artist and developed her skills through exploration and experimentation on a range of different mediums and with different techniques.
