“I capture what interests me and follow where it leads—faces and expressions, architecture, light, the abstracted familiar.” Photographer Leah Abrahams engages with the people in her local surroundings and while traveling to experience and examine the individuals and cultures she encounters. Her work is shown in group exhibits in Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well as in the Midwest, where she had several one-woman shows. In Wisconsin Abrahams co-founded a cooperative art gallery, and was represented by several galleries and arts organizations. Her award-winning images have been purchased by the Neville Museum and are held in corporate and private collections.
