Once coming back to Mexico she abandons Architecture. Concentrates her energy getting her BA on Visual Arts.
Has realized 16 individual exhibitions and more than 200 collective shows within Mexico and abroad. Has been awarded with 6 acknowledgments in Graphics.
Her parents: Jose Tabachnik and Sara Edelsztejn, Miriam was born as first generation in Mexico City. Married to Samuel Libhaber, one daughter, 3 grandchildren.
Through her work, Miriam reintroduces as a plastic resource, the iconography belonging to the culture that raised her through reinvented images born from her particular gaze.

THIS STAGE OF MY LIFE LIVES IN A COLLECTION OF MONOTYPES, AS THE PASSING LIGHT THAT SHOWS IN THE FOREST. A LOG IN A FOREST OF RODS, OF WIRE, OF BODIES AND TWIGS, IN A FOREST OF METAPHORS, A FOREST OF IDEAS!!
A LIGHT THAT RISES AMONG COLORS, SOMETIMES FROM THE BOTTOM, SOMETIMES IN THE AREA. AS THOUGHTS, IDEAS, THE REASONING, THE CONCLUSIONS, ....
WE LIVE LINKED ONE TO EACH OTHER, WE DO NOT LIVE ISOLATED.
THOUGHTS ARE NEITHER ISOLATED, SOMETIMES THEY ARE A TANGLE OF IDEAS, OR A STORM OF REASONINGS, ALWAYS LINKED ONE TO EACH OTHER, AS WE HUMANS ARE.
THE FORMATS AND SUPPORT OF THIS COLLECTION ARE VERY VARIED, AND THE SAME ARE MY STEPS TO WALK THIS NEW WAY OF ADDRESSING THIS THEME THAT I LOVE.
