Alexander a.k.a. Radtke – an Ural artist who was born in a small Russian town. Before he knew his vocation was to make art, he had had a lot of non-artistic kinds of job. In 2011 he had moved to Yekaterinburg and started to create oil paintings on canvas, not even knowing about professional techniques and doing everything intuitively. Since then the artist has developed flower-devoted, animalistic, abstract, philosophical themes in the s?ries of works and of course has become well known for his portraits of famous artists (musicians, writers, painters). He also makes self-portraits and covers natural rocks with ethnic drawings. Some of his artworks have the function of nightlamps, being able to give a bit of light in the dark. All paintings by Alexander Radtke come in a genre of expressionism. The artist inspired by the ability to arouse strong emotions in people, good or bad, to reveal our natural human’s expression.
