Hideo Kikuchi was born in Saitama Prefecture in 1948. After engaging in oil painting for 28 years, Kikuchi has now been active as a Japanese-style painter for 22 years. In pursuit of the beauty of nature, the main motif of his work is landscapes, as viewed in his published Mt. Fuji trilogy.
