Marido is a contemporary artist who lives in Provence.
Her figures and landscapes intertwine dream and reality, darkness and light. Her use of palette knife and glaze, combined with abstract background, allow her to portrait a sense of belonging to a universal community drifting away, shackled in a dehumanized, cruel, and materialist world. Her intuitive vision, marked with incessant questioning, calls out for individual’s reflection on human’s roles, and responsibilities on this planet. Her quest for unity stuns by its authenticity.
