Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1954, photographer. Bambi Ota graduated from the Photography Department at the Osaka University of Arts. Using portions of the human body as the subjects of his works, Ota turns these parts into abstract works of art with unique methods. Although the atmosphere of each photograph varies dramatically depending on the condition of the subject as well as the state and mood of the location where it was taken, the artistic sensibility that lies behind each is the same.
