Jesse Sideman is a country boy turned city dweller, moving from a family-run organic farm in Maine to New York City in 2002. Always possessing a strong interest in photography, a four month photo program in Havana, Cuba in 2005 cemented it for him. Since then he has made a point of searching out the natural beauty in any environment and is absolutely fascinated by the photographer's ability to slice out a small piece of the world as he has seen it and bring it back to show to others.
