Within the scope of project Human/less, I intend to present the system and mankind’s dehumanization to which the system conduces as the product of an inextricable, natural process; and in this context, I have handled the city as a problem.
The city, which is the center of power relations, is actually the condensation of circulation. We, looking at this circulation, see both the power of rulership and its reasons. The tragic situation I intend to reveal is the “legitimacy of such a system”. Despite all the negativeness, people demand and establish the areas on which the circulation focuses. This is the consciousness of alienation and objectification, and the surrender of humankind. The legitimacy of the system (or the authority) is the most dangerous type of rulership, and the “fascism inside us” via which the power of rulership is spread into every part of our daily lives.
In this project the path of system has been processed by using an omniscient point-of-view through alienation, system-individual, human-nature, human-machine, supervision, congestion, and the density of physical contact in spite of loneliness.
