Sherri McEuen graduated from California Institute of the Arts in 1978. She worked as an experimental animator and participated on ‘Astronauts and Jellybeans’ a film which was in the 1989 Cannes Film Festival, and on ‘The Notorious Jumping Frog of Caliveras County’ which won the Cine Golden Eagle and Chris Plaque Awards. She is a sculptor and surrealist painter.

Self taught as a sculptor, she began experimenting with clay and bronze in 2000. In bronze, her work celebrates the female form with an emphasis on youth, beauty, motherhood and angels. In ceramics, her work explores the mystery of Mardi Gras and Carnivale.

Sherri was nominated to be in ‘The Biennale del Arte Contemporanea’ in Florance, Italy four times. The Biennale is joined by UNICEF in a global peace effort through the arts.

Sherri designed in bronze ‘The Global Peace Music Award’, which is a ceremony dedicated to world peace and equality.

Sherri is on the cover of ‘The Best of California Artists & Artisans’ Vol. 1 book, winning ‘The Best of the Best Award’.

She is in ‘The Best of America Sculptors’ book.

She has been invited to exhibit in the Eiffel Tower in ‘La Grande Esposition Universelle 2014

She has exhibited her work in art galleries in Laguna Beach, Aspen, Palm Desert, Boston and Los Angeles.

Sherri has been in the Festival of Arts four times, the Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens twelve times, the La Jolla Art Festival twice, in addition to several other juried art exhibitions.
