My name is Troy Knight and I reside in Lavalette, WV. I graduated from Barboursville High School in 1983, my main course of study was Art. I also attended Cabell County Vo. Tech. for 2 years of Commercial Art. I currently work as a Paramedic for Cabell County EMS and operate my Stained Glass Business on my days off.
Now to tell you about my Stained Glass Business that I hope to continue after I retire from the EMS field.
I have been a private stained glass artist since 1982, specializing in the design, fabrication, installation and restoration of stained glass.
I opened my full service home studio in 1995 after noticing a need for a stained glass studio that would work with the client, listen to their individual needs and share their vision to create a work of art made of the highest quality at a reasonable price. My works of art cover all aspects of stained glass and include sun catchers, hanging panels, lamps, cabinet doors, skylights, residential and commercial windows, entranceways and transoms, and religious windows.
I offer both new designs and restoration work, traditional or modern, religious or residential, large or small, I will make your stained glass vision a reality. All of my work is completely designed and fabricated by hand in my home studio and is of the highest quality available, designed and sized to suit your individual needs, matching any decor and architectural style.
From concept to completion you will be dealing directly with me, we will work together on your design ideas or I can create an original design for your approval. I have thousands of stained glass designs available that can be reproduced or modified to fit your individual taste and budget. I also have several inspiring photos of my work in my portfolio.
With each individual commission I take great care with the design and fabrication so the window will stand the test of time and enrich the environment for which it was created, as window designs differ greatly from commission to commission my high quality of artistry and craftsmanship remains the same.

Throughout the entire process I remain focused and sensitive to the needs of my clients to provide the best possible quality in craftsmanship, materials and service.
I was commissioned by the board of the New Life Lutheran Church to design and create 1 - Ascension Window that would total 126 Square Foot, 8 - 24" X 47" half round windows each with 1 - 14" round medallion of the life of Christ and 1 - 36" round window of the Lutheran Seal for their Church Building which was just beginning to undergo construction, working closely with the board of directors and the contracting company that was in charge of building the Church I was ready to install all of the New Aluminum Window Frames and the Stained Glass Windows immediately after the interior was painted. The members of the Church wanted only the top section of the 8 side windows in Stained Glass to allow for natural daylight to enter and to keep the view of the property.
