Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1923, Yuriko Harada is a Japanese-style painter as well as a Poet. While studying under her mentor, she tries to develop her own style in creating artwork. She has demonstrated her talent in various fields such as doll making and poetry (tanka) and the diversity of her expressions is what she believes to lend a profundity to her works.
