Born in 1970 in the Mauricie region of Quebec, Dominique Marcotte is a self taught artist.

The artist was immersed in the artistic environment from a young age alongside his father, architect and painter. His father gave him an early taste of painting and artistic creation.

At the age of 8, he began by painting landscapes and forms that were more similar works père.Plus his later creative force in this phase of his childhood in him will keep its intensity and specificity.

He developed over time his artistic flair and desire to express and externalize his emotions through his achievements.

He is at work in his studio rather the evening after his day's work. A relaxing moment where he gives free rein to express his deep feelings through his spatula. A time when the artist feels "in harmony" with his picture. One way for him to discover and escape.

It builds on the present moment to give life to creations full of color, light, originality and strength.

The pleasure of painting and the need to escape led him to intensify its work for the past three years by performing 49 works. These works are sure to impress and give you want to know more the universe of the artist.

Energetic go-getter, he transforms his inner emotions projects. It carries to an abstract universe only discovers the end of his achievements.

As rightly suggests the titles of his current collections: "In The Time"
"Dynamic", "Exploration" and "Ying & Yang"

Each painting shows us a universe and a different atmosphere full of vitality and spontaneity.
