Aure, de Col’Aure la Vie : a magical glass world to light the life !
Col'Aure la vie, is a craft glass workshop, established in the middle south of France (l’Ardèche!), which plays with glass and colors to ... ''col'aure'' the life!
It is born from L'Aure's passion for the magic of the glass, and its possibilities in decoration schemes, using shining colours and light to play with.
Master in glass art, L’Aure uses the magic of glass, with its colors and transparency, to create unusual sculptures and crystalline objects, which all are hymns for Life and Hope.
They can be abstracts, like ''Coeur Rubis'' and '’ Terres en Flammes'' or figuratives, like her ingenuous bestiairies (''Hypolite''- the owl duke, or ''Aussie Ta! '' the Australian butterfly …). And what about her ''Life Tree” on its lava stone !
L’Aure works with ancestral techniques –Fused and kilned glass, or contemporary ones -thermoforming, uv glue, engraving, blasting …
Her aim? To “col’aure” the life… like in a “magical world where light triffles with dreariness in a symphony of colors that calls for Life”.
L'Aure began to decorate glass as self-taught in 1983 (doors, windows, conservatories...)
Over the years, and trainings in European glass workshops, she gained skill and know-how, that as Master in glass art, she loves to share with her students.
Since 2011, she has been exhibiting in international artshows,
and awarded 1st prize of sculpture and public award.
As said artcritic M.T.Prestigiacomo in Assisi international Artshow last June: "L'Aure's creations : sculptures that reflect the light of the artist's soul: sensitive and poetic like a song of Brassens or a poem of Prevert. A light to watch love all over the world!"
L’Aure is member of Ateliers d’Art de France.
