Veronique Perron was born in 1978, in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada. She has diplomas in Fine Arts and Visual Presentation Design. When she is not painting, she is a contractor for “Cirque du Soleil”, as a prop maker for the costume department. She also has a background in special effects for movies and TV shows, making monsters, prosthetics and props.
She has always loved creating characters, both 3D and painted, and it is in 2004 that “Twisted Kitties” was born. She paints in acrylics, mostly on canvases, and her works have been sold on all continents.
“I am the one who creates creatures. I forge ahead to spread my art up to the end of the Cosmos. I search my imagination, looking for new creatures to give birth to: Closet Monsters, Ill-Mannered Monkeys and silly pets. My works can be found on all continents and I am always looking for ways to spread my talent. My works tell stories. They are colourful, vibrant, and always tinted with humor. My goal: to make you smile!”
