Born 1953, Glasgow.
1975 - Diploma in sculpture from Dundee Art School
1977 - Left our small island for adventures on the continental land-mass.
1980 - Worked in Paris as an illustrator for Biba, Marie-Claire, Cosmopolitan & Vogue magazines.
1981/84- Four consecutive one man shows with Galerie Philippe Frégnac (Paris).
- also exhibited at Galerie Totem (Brussels),
Art Nou Mil·lenni (Barcelona) & Compass Gallery (Glasgow).
2017- 23 - Lecturer of Perspective & life drawing at LISAA School of Applied Arts (Paris)

I've always been impressed by the stone walls (dykes) in Scotland winding their way up and down the mountains - how long did it take to build them? in what conditions.
In my painting I wanted to make a "minimalist" composition, just a strip across the canvas.

I found this ruined fishing-boat in Britanny where the fishermen are superfitious about breaking up their old craft.
