I am a mostly self taught photographer; having taken pictures most of my life. I have taken classes from time to time to fine tune my skills. In 2002 I purchased my first digital camera and used both film and digital until 2003 when I moved exclusively to digital. In 2004 I decided to combine the photography with my painting, printing photographs in black and white and, using several different painting media, began painting my photographs. Some of my paintings are fully painted, but most are done on a selective basis, leaving a portion of the photograph visible. Lately I have been concentrating on Panoramas and Infra Red photographs.
