Kenn Kotara is an artist, educator and advocate. He works in many diverse mediums in both two and three dimension, the result of a perpetual curiosity that initiates and responds to various catalysts. Much of the artist’s work is rooted in the fertile Southern environment of his native Louisiana although the shapes, patterns and colors in Kotara’s works offer a universal appeal. His early education in architecture also influences the geometrical landscapes the artist is known for today. Kotara has taught at numerous colleges and is currently an adjunct professor at Mars Hill University. His work may be found in diverse venues, in numerous exhibitions, corporate, public and private collections throughout the world.
