Laurence Jung-Hee Steenbergen was born March 11th, 1975 in South Korea. She was adopted and grew up in The Netherlands. Throughout her childhood she was always interested in creative activities such as sketching, story writing, photography or playing with beads and fabric. Laurence passed through school with great ease. After participating in a career choice test it was certain that the creative path was the right choice for Laurence, but she didn’t dare follow that path. However, creativity has to find a way out and she took artistic painting lessons and worked as a freelancer besides her universal study and besides her work later.
Nowadays, she is a married mother with two daughters and works as a parttime fine artist. Her artwork brought her to New York and South Europe. Creativity is part of her life.
