Research is an important part of my life. I graduated in Physics and for the past several years have been involved in worldwide oceanographic surveys.

My passion for photography and the desire to play with light came during my adolescence, with an old reflex camera. Today my preferred techniques include photography, processing, painting and experimenting with self-made darkrooms.
In the summer of 2009, I met a great photographer who lead me to show my work publicly.

The artistic research I develop is an investigation into the origin of ideas – a colourful chaotic shapeless plasma where things take a shape and solidify or transmute into a continuous beginning.

My aim is to challenge the perception of the observer, to lead him to question how to interpret the intersection of the images in phenomenological terms and his vision and reflection of himself in the world. Image is always the same and always different, at the limit between conscious thought and experience, in a mixture of unfocused present into a continuous beginning.

Portfolio:

Ghost cities, Soul cities

Evanescent ships that mark the water,
surreal clouds that cover buildings,
ghosts skyscrapers that appear from the port.

Images that transmute the reality
and become a pure reflection of the mind,
forge of dreams, emotions and fantastic visions.

Altered images, unfocused, forced,
images that challenge the perception of the observer
lead him to question
how to interpret in phenomenological terms
the intersection of the images.

Images always the same and always different,
at the limit between conscious thoughts and experiences,
mixture of unfocused present in a continuous beginning.

Visions and Dreams before Dawn

Evanescent bodies that mark the sky,
surreal clouds that cover the landscape,
ancient atmospheres that appear from the past.

Images that transmute the reality
and become a pure reflection of the mind,
forge of dreams, emotions and fantastic visions.

Altered images, unfocused, forced,
intersection of images that challenge the perception of the observer.

Images at the limit between conscious thoughts and experiences,
mixture of unfocused present in a continuous beginning.

Neglect #1 “Neglect #1”

THE NEGLECT [and other ghosts of the twentieth century]

9/HUNDRED

Strong and linear architectural structures
thrown to the future of humanity.

Huge warehouses, containers of pure ideology,
great factories of universal automation.

2/THOUSAND

Piles of rubble
broken columns
crumbled archetypes.

Colonized walls
of primigenee moulds,
artworks of abstract art.

stained glass windows shattered,
kaleidoscopic lights
projected in the ether.

Apology of a continuous evolution,
manual of celestial mechanics.
