Tisza-kalmar

Tisza-Kalmar

Location:

I started my painting studies in primary school under the guidance of René Benkő, an art teacher. Later, I continued my studies with Jenő Barcsay, a famous painter and professor at the University of Fine Arts, who is also renowned abroad. I also owe a lot to sculptor Miklós Borsos.
From 1979 I continued my studies in London. In 1985 I moved to Vienna. I had exhibitions in London, Vienna, Munich, Budapest and in the countryside. My work can be found in private collections in England, Germany, Austria, Italy and Hungary. Most of my paintings are abroad.
I am a member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists.
Throughout my career I have been so fortunate to have always received encouragement from the greatest - living legends. I have already mentioned Jenő Barcsay, Miklós Borsos. At my first exhibition I was encouraged by the painter Tamás Losonczy. I knew the painter Menyhért Tóth personally. My exhibitions here were opened at the same time by Pál Gerzson, painter and head of the painting department at the University of Art.
I have had thirty solo exhibitions so far.
