I am a contemporary abstract artist based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. I am largely self-taught, but also attended several art courses in Germany. In addition to that, I've also expanded my landscape and portrait understanding via online courses.
I am profoundly interested in the alchemical effect of different materials, creating captivating textural elements and then adding layer after layer, in the pursuit of light, depth, and harmony. My work is fundamentally intuitive and illustrates a dynamic conflict between the order of symmetry and the creative nature of chaos.
I see my work as an expression of the forces churning in my unconscious mind and I routinely record my dreams, providing me inspiration for my art.
This is a collection of small canvasses between 15 x 15 cm and 60 x 60 cm or round MDF panels (25 cm diameter) using different acrylic pouring techniques which have been turned either into abstract paintings or abstract landscapes and flowers.
