A self taught artist and a tad late in the game, I still have hopes to make it big in the world of art. I love working with acrylic paints and usually do abstracts. There is no particular one kind of pattern, or theme I work on.. it's always... whatever takes my fancy..... I usually am bad at planning out my paintings... I love to just get started and never know what will come next. This roller coaster ride of not knowing how it will turn up excites me to no end.
Hoping to make a name for myself, to break the shackles that hold me, spread my wings and fly fly fly ..........

This definitely describes me. A lover of bright colors even before I ever took a brush in my hand. I can't seem to have enough of colors around me. It's all about splashes of yellow, orange, red n blue.......all the colors that make me happy, make me feel I want to dance and sing for the sheer joy of it.
As long as I can remember, I have always loved to create with my hands. So I wield my brush n knives, squeeze out brightest of the bright colors and continue to paint stories on the canvas......forever n ever.

I started this painting because I was drawn to a design from a scrap of cloth. It had flowers, birds and all the motifs that I relate to because of the sense of freedom it signifies.
