Having achieved a Bachelor degree in Statistics and Masters degree in business development, I originally followed my career in that discipline. However my love for art led me away from this path and after completing a few art courses like mixed media, printmaking, Acrylic painting from Central Saint Martin College of Art and Design, London, I started to follow my passion. I started my creative career in London and now I work from my studio in New York area. In the last few years I have been exhibiting my art through galleries, group and solo shows, juried and members exhibitions through out the world. I have done a number of commissioned work for clients in different countries. Plus I help to promote art by doing voluntary work at school art shows and have been a member of Bernards parks and recreation, NJ for the last few years to organize the art show for the Charter Day every year and have been recently awarded Mayor’s art award for 2021-22.
My artwork echoes “Expression from Extraction '' reimagining the things around me everyday. I love to create simple and playful images yet elaborate, at the same time using vibrant colors, overlapping textures and depth of layering. Through different combinations I try to bring the subject new life, exemplify tactile textures and supercharging the senses for art lovers. Most of my works are centered around the cosmos, nature and life around us sparking joy, positivity, and well-being.
The Moon has always been my favorite subject to paint. My fascination with it began in childhood and has only deepened over time. For me, the Moon symbolizes profound positivity. Despite being covered in craters and rocks, it is admired for its beauty. It shines brightly in the night sky, even though it's just one dark rock . The Moon’s light is ever-changing for us, yet a constant companion on dark nights, guiding us with its soft glow. It continues to shine in different shapes and hues, showing us the way.

I keep taking pictures of doors wherever I travel. Old , new or traditional doors. Doors carry an opportunity as well as a mystery for me. A closed door can be an entry to new opportunity/way or can be an end for someone, it's the way a person takes it. Behind every door, there are hundreds of stories and moments that happened, happening or about to happen. Yes they are mysteries and discoveries for me.
