Still Life

My main source of inspiration is my own life, my memories of childhood…of a place and time left behind. I am constantly looking for desolate places, spaces and objects that exude a melancholic mood.
In case of the series Still Life, my own childhood memories sneak in through these images, letting the viewer feel some of the pain that even the memory of a happy childhood can bring.
