I am into art because of what I can create and leave behind, I began drawing and painting at the age of 7, I try with my art to convey the beauty within each object or person, or animal I create. To capture a moment in time, if you will, Born and raised in Scranton, PA the youngest child of six. My technique is to create a "still beauty" as I've been referring to it for over 30 yrs. I prefer charcoal and Graphite but I'm versed in all mediums. Capturing moments and beauty of time is why I am an artist, to convey to the world other "Still Beauty" they may have missed
"Art to me is created of the heart feeling every stroke of every line. To create is to visually express your heart and souls journey through this life. The beauty felt is the beauty visualized, what I create to me is not created but already present within me and my medium and I as the artist just becomes the instrument of it's existence. We tend to go through life faster everyday always late for something or another and forget to feel or express the emotions of the heart and the beauty existing around us and within us. My process is to not create art, but to visual tell the world how and what it is I feel for the beauty that is LIFE".
Here is a portfolio of various works i've done of everyday thing in a variety of mediums. Take a look around, all are for sale if your interested contact me at: fenmrks@yahoo.com.
