Maria le Roux is an amateur oil painter from South Africa. Her work is inspired by the scenery of the Overberg that has been her home for the past 20 years. She is an intuitive painter, but credits Youtube videos by Diane Mize for most of her technical art knowledge. She is also an accomplished potter and was a student of master potter David Schlapobersky for many years.
