I am a native Canadian, our family moved to California when I was thirteen and I have lived there since then. My education includes two Bachelor's degrees from California State University, Fullerton: Business Admin and the second in Fine Art. I knew I was an artist before the age of three.
Hummingbirds represent spirituality of nature and remind me of angels. I mount bronze sculptures of hummingbirds on wood for support. The presentation is layered first with the freedom of flight using three dimensional bronze sculpture. The second layer is the wall support. They appear to be flying over breathtaking atmospheric landscape and I use a variety of mediums to obtain unusual textures and colors.
