I am self taught, Art has played a huge part in helping me to live more comfortably with my anxiety and OCD problems, it takes me away to another place where I feel calm, peaceful and untroubled by all the thoughts that can make life difficult, I was encouraged to apply to the Australian National University School of Visual Art and much to my amazement was offered a place, I studied textiles and painting and have continued with my Art ever since. Art is such a deep part of myself I cant imagine my life without it, Ian.
