Artist Danny Dogger (1979) is drawing from his early childhood. As complete self-educated person he managed to create, after years of experimenting, the recognizable and at the same time authentic Dogger-style.
In the year 2002 he started to work out this style on canvas. With an abstraction far carried out only the necessary is reflected. Expression and minimalism (the ‘less is more’ concept) are within that philosophy at issue. Through the use of primary colors and black basic-lines the human and animal characters get a powerful but above all clear appearance. The suggestion of the artist and interpretation of the viewer plays a substantial role.
Danny prefers speaking of his work as art with a small ‘a’. Within this abstract framework is the big wink at issue. Imagination and perfect balance are main points from which he cuts his experiences, which is what he wants to share with the viewer
