These images are personal expressions of lens and light and are made from a palette of everyday surroundings. They represent the real world we live in as as a photographic abstract. My aim is to create images that transcend the barriers of what is around us in the natural combination of color and motion in our world. The result is an expression limited only by the imagination of the observer. The images are digital photographs of the purest form, not created by any software processing computer program.
These images can often cause introspection - and other times an almost spiritual experience, and are unique to each viewer.
Jeff Amberg has been an award winning professional photographer since 1980, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. He worked as a photojournalist for ten years and is currently a commercial, advertising, and editorial photographer, living in Columbia, SC.
