Edgar Garicia self-taught artist born and raised in Washington D.C. His work is formed out of his impressions, observations and experiences. Composed in mixed media, they illustrate a dynamic exploration and consolidation of color texture. Just like life consists of different people and experiences, his art contains different textures and materials that come together to create one vision. “I want the eyes and mind to open up to unconventional ways of seeing and thinking.
