A Florida native, I was raised in Miami but spent much of my adult life in California where I worked as a speech pathologist. I retired back to Palm Beach 11 years ago and began working with fused glass. I studied first with a private teacher and then took classes at McMow Art Glass, Art Glass environments, and a number of out of town venues. I now have my own studio and my hobby has become my passion. Working with glass has allowed my to express my creativity and love for color, shape and form. I get lost in my work and experience a thrill each time I open the kiln. Today my glass can be found in private collections from New York to Los Angeles. This year I have begun doing glass casting. Casting has opened an entire new area for me to expand. My first cast glass pieces will be shown this season.

2015 has opened new doors for me as I have begun to work with glass casting. Casting has allowed my freedom to work with clay models which are then cast in plaster and finally fired with glass in my kiln for almost 40 hours This process results in very beautiful glass scultures that are always one of kind. The mold is destroyed in order to remove the glass from the plaster after firing.
I am submitting three new cast glass pieces. The first is Fish Under Water, my view from a reef. The second is Crowned Woman Number one, and the third is Crowned Amber Woman.
