Matia is an abstract figurative artist born and raised in Iran. Initially drawn to the mysteries of the universe, she pursued physics in university but later found a deep connection to art. She dedicated five years to studying art, including painting and art history. Matia primarily works with acrylics but explores various mediums. Her art features bold brushstrokes and delicate figures, creating a unique and captivating style. Since 2010, she has exhibited her artwork in the Middle East and Canada. Matia is currently based in Richmond, where she not only creates art but also inspires aspiring artists as a teacher, leaving a lasting impact on the local art community.
