Japanese-style painter. Hojun Nishishita, born in 1947, combines the subtlety of Ito Jakuchu, the lively expression of Hokusai; and the superb composition of Hiroshige. Nishishita specializes in the conspicuously delicate and translucent style distinctive of traditional Japanese nihon-ga painting and has shown work in solo exhibitions and art fairs.
