Okiana Mikeli was born in 1990 in Tirana (Albania) and came in Italy in 1998.Quite small, her passion about the drawing of human figure comes out.At 12 years old ,she began to use oil painting, her preferred technique.
The recurring subject in her paintings is the female figure as a portrait that is often represented in a symbolic way.Other techniques she used are acrylic, tempera, watercolor, oil pastels, crayons and sheets of wood.
She began to study art in “Artistic Lycee A.Caravillani” (Rome) and she graduated in 2010.
She has participated in many group exhibitions in Italy (Genova, Rome, Piacenza) and other European cities (Bruxelles,Bratislava). She has done her first personal exhibition in the "Eliseo Theatre" in March 2012 (Rome.)
