Claire McCall (1972) - AUSTRALIA
Claire McCall was born in 1972 in Melbourne.
She is a self-taught artist; therefore, much of her process has developed intuitively over the years.
Claire taught herself to paint primarily by reading art books and magazines, studying the work of the old masters and current local Australian artists, in addition to spending time developing her skills with a paint brush and palette knife.
She is an awarded artist notably winning the prestigious ‘Melbourne Clifton’s Art Prize 2012’. She is a member of the Australian Guild Of Realist Artists(AGRA).
