Doug Wilkie

Location: Canada

Doug Wilkie has been painting for over 30 years which has translated into his own style, uniquely expressing his interpretation of Canadian landscapes. Doug has been honoured to donate some of his work for charitable purposes, to support the arts and children's services.

Doug finds his inspiration in the beauty of the world around him. He has been fortunate enough to live on the West Coast of Canada and in the Niagara region of Ontario which has provided many sources of motivation for some of his best work. Our cabin in Lanark, Ontario is another spot that encourages his creativity because of its beauty and tranquility.

“Every where we look there are possibilities, opportunities, to experience not just life but this great country and world of ours! I try to capture some of those experiences on canvas, to be seen and enjoyed by others.'
