JULIE MERCIER (b. 1959, Ottawa, Ontario) Originally a commercial artist, then graphic design teacher, turned web designer, and later a user interface designer, Julie has recently exited the workforce in order to concentrate her creative energy into acrylic painting. A Bachelor of Arts, a commercial art diploma along with Ottawa School of Art courses, multiple workshops with Canadian artists, virtual workshops, and hours of practice form the foundation of this passion.
Julie is a member of the Merrickville Artists’ Guild and of the North Grenville Arts Guild. Many of her works hang on the walls of collectors in Canada and in the United States.
Julie now lives on a hobby farm, is a wife and dog mom.
