Born in Fall River,Mass. in 1927.Served in the Merchant Marines,later in the US Army Air Force.Attended Rhode Island School Of Design,and later,Cranbrook Academy Of Art.Moved to New York and began exhibiting on Tenth Street.Became Willem Dekooning's assistant and exhibited at numerous galleries in NY.Now living in East Hampton,NY.Presently exhibiting at the Lawrence Fine Art gallery in East Hampton and the Chase Edwards gallery in Bridgehampton NY.
